Websites and news organizations make money from advertising when we view their content. There are three important distinctions for you to know:
- Native Advertising - advertising that tries to sell or promote a product in the guise of a news story
- Traditional Advertising - most common advertising that sells or promotes a product
- News story - real content containing factual information about a subject and independent of bias and should answer, who, what, when and how

This is traditional advertising because the ad is trying to sell a product. It is not a news story with factual information and it is not advertising that tries to sell or promote a product in the guise of a news story.

There is not a lot of information given in the small advertisement and it is trying to convince to convince people by giving them a coupon code for a small amount off the subscription.
